Safeway Driving School offers both classroom instructions and one-on-one driving lessons. The cost for the 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of driving lessons is $370. We have a classroom beginning each month of the year. The driving lessons are scheduled seperately from the classroom. We offer driving lessons Monday through Saturday during the school year and Monday through Friday over the summer.

Parents take notice that starting July 1, 2010, all students who attend drivers education must be AT LEAST 15 years old and 180 days. Prior to July 1, 2010, students can start drivers education at 14 years old and 10 months. If a student starts drivers education but does not turn 15 until July 1st, 2010, they must wait until they are 15 and 180 days old before obtaining their drivers education permit.
Also changing on July 1, 2010, students must be 16 years old and 180 days prior to getting their license if they took drivers education. The cut off date to get your license at 16 and 30 days would be a May 30th 1994 birthday. Any students younger than that must wait until they are 16 years old and 180 days.
